Appice is a rock drumming legend, from forming Vanilla Fudge in the 60's to recording 4 albums with Rod Stewart in the 70's (co-writing some of his biggest hits like "Young Turks" and "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy"). in the 80's, he formed Blue Murder with ex-Whitesnake members John Sykes and Tony Franklin. The 90's saw the release of his Zeus project albums bringing together the biggest rock Guitarists with an amazing and diverse collection of songs. This project includes licks from Queen's Brian May, Slash, Ted Nugent, Richie Sambora, Yngwie Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde, Neal Schon Vivian Campbell, Pat Travers and many more....even tennis legend John McEnroe joins this racket! Also includes guest vocals from Edgar Winter... and action film actor/singer Steven Seagal! The Carmine Appice Project is helmed by main players Appice on drums/vocals;Tony Franklin (The Firm/Whitesnake) on bass and Kelly Keeling (Baton Rouge/MSG/Blue Murder) on lead vocals. It's a varied and downright mean CD!
