Look, plays, and sounds nice right out the box. It did need the sharp fret ends dressed and the tuners oiled, if that is all you did you will be very happy. Get a 12 dollar fret end file that wont mar the fretboard, and watch a youtube video on how to dress fret ends. I did a full setup on mine to my liking. For individuals with basic knowledge of guitar or bass maintenance with attention to detail makes this bass a great value for the price.
