So, my thoughts on this guitar after about a week, I have been playing guitar for 21 years now, I’ve had some nice ones over the years including a couple Gibson and Fender. So, I’ve owned a couple REAL American made Strats, and real Stratocaster guitars have a little more weight to them but some people may like that this guitar feels lighter. This guitar feels very light to me, but my main guitar I play is a Les Paul, so pretty big difference. The weight seems balanced, I haven’t had the neck slide down or anything while I’m using my strap and let go of the guitar.Paint and finish wise, it looks great, the little defects in the picture are not flaws in the paint, it’s just where I had already gotten smudges and fingerprints on it. Tone sounds pretty good with the pickups from the factory, I was thinking I’d have to upgrade right away, but I was pleasantly surprised. All the hardware seems decent and the tuners keep it in tune pretty well. The strap it said it included was not in the box, but I have a bunch anyway, I didn’t need it so no big deal. I got this guitar just because I liked the look of it and I’m on a budget and wanted a new toy to play around with. But I’m pretty happy with it, I’d say for the cost it’s definitely nice enough for a beginner or even intermediate players like me that just like collecting and playing. I just wanted to add a black strat style to my collection and I’m happy enough with my purchase. One suggestion I would make is to change the strings pretty soon after purchase, it came with a very thin gauge string set and I’m used to 11s. I would also suggest getting some fretboard conditioner because it was very dry out of the box. The setup and action and playability are all great, no issues there, no dead frets or noticeable fret buzz.Arrived perfectGood double boxing no fret sprout perfect action.change the strings and go.very nice colorSounds great unplugged.pups seem pretty goodNice light weightLove the neck nice and chunky, but a c,not a u feels goodLooks plays wellGuitar is beautiful cosmetically... But neck of wood too soft, dented very easily, and neck was really thick in the hand, frets worn after a couple months, difficult to intonate at first. But i was able to drop the action really low to the frets with no buzz which was a plus. Other than that played good looked good... All in all a very mediocre guitar, just a step below squire in my opinion, due to the soft woods used, and craftsmanship. For how much your paying your rely getting a great guitar.. The frets our not terribly sharp on edges where most guitars in this price range are. The neck is honestly incredible it’s super smooth and pretty thick fretboard. The pickups are not the best but if your a beginner or just getting a guitar for someone as a gift you may not be to worried about the tone being perfect or what not. Great guitar for the price.Nice cheap guitar. All it needed was new strings and a setup. Not packaged/protected well, but arrived in great shape. No sharp frets. Changed out strings almost immediately. Adjust action slightly. Don't use tremelo. Conditioned the fingerboard. Looks great, holds tune with new strings and sounds great. Surprising quality for price paid. Thanks!Love the guitar! Plays and sounds great! Please send me the strap that is suppose to be included. Thanks very much!Fit and finish were better than expected and it plays pretty decent for the money,It is a scam the only thing that arrived was a mask and then the description changed from the guitar on review orders to the picture of the mask one big conAnyone bashing this guitar for it's build or "made in ..." label knock it off. It's called a beginner's guitar for a reason. You start with it to see if you like to play. Upgrade before joining a band. Clear as mud?UPDATE! I still think it's a good guitar but this one couldn't stay in tune. I'd play a few songs on RockSmith and I'd have to retune when it starts saying I missed a note/chord. Tried an external tuner as well as the rocksmith one. I had to return it and upgraded to an Epiphone. This Sawtooth has MANY MANY positive reviews. Perhaps mine was that "one" in a thousand. Still worth a try if you're looking for an inexpensive guitar. Just make sure you buy from "Ships from Amazon" directly in case you do need to return/exchange it...awesome return policy.Review on the build. Seems solid. You do see the few imperfections here and there but none alter the sound or playability. The strap it came with is your basic strap. I like the hard clip types. Just don't swing around too much or too hard when jamming. :)The guitar comes with pics, tuner, whammy bar, and a few allen wrenches.Newbys: (because I'm one of them) when you get it in tune you'll hear lots of vibrations as if the frets are too high or such. Use the small allen wrench and adjust the height of the screw bolt thingy on the bridge. 2 screws per string. It lifts the string up higher off the neck. Don't go too high, you'll damage it.Away you go!Produktfoto ist eine Maske. Abgelegt unter "Versuch macht Klug".I think this guitar has many great features. Fretwork was good, but needed polishing. Fret ends were fine. I like that it's light weight. I made this guitar my own. Swapped pick ups (the ones that came with it are just fine). I just wanted more punch (That's just personal). Lots of finishing flaws that could have easily been avoided. The pots, although cheap, tapered well. My biggest issue is that when I swapped the pickguard, unscrewed the screws, the wood was VERY dry, bringing up sawdust. I had to use epoxy resin to fill in the screw holes in order to put my new pickguard in. The tuners hold tune. They aren't the best, but do the trick. Being a professional guitarist for 35 years, I'd love to consult this company on how to make this product better. It would take eyes wide open and not that much cash to do so. Overall, it's a very good instrument. I don't think the video reviews or representation of this instrument are accurate. I know that the are not. In a nutshell, It's very good, but could be better without breaking the company's bank. If these details were taken care of properly, this guitar could give the bigger boys something to think about. Hope this helps! Best, Robert Philipp.Absolutely amazing, tuned it up plugged in and LOVE IT, well worth the money ??
