I have a one of the 4” wide padded straps for bass guitar. It was a good strap and still is however I find that it kinda digs into my neck a little too much. It also doesn’t store well at all. You can’t really fold it more than once and it’s prone to develop bad creases if it’s folded too tight too long. So this strap was the solution, and it worked! The leather is super soft as advertised and I can roll or fold it up and it will actually fit in a case unlike my 4” strap! I thought it was ridiculous to have a strap that wouldn’t fit into any of my cases with my bass, I had to have a separate case for it. Not anymore. The only thing I have issue with is the length, on my 4” strap I used the last strap hole, on this one I’m using the upper hole so now I have this 5” piece of strap dangling around. I’ll either rubber band it up or cut it off, not a big deal.
