I didn't have any of the problems you read in the reviews here - worked smooth 8 out of 10 - came with instructions which were clerar enough. BUT - look at the image - see how the upper fork that holds the neck is level on both sides? Now image your cutaway - there is no shoulder for the fork to leverage on the cutaway side. You sit your guitar on the lower support and push down - then lean it into the upper fork which when you release it and it springs up rests on the shouders of the guitar locking it in. If you have a cutaway it only rests on one side and DOES NOT secure your instrument.
