I have had several hand operated and low price electric staple guns and none of them have worked very well or lasted very long. With a stalled project that I was carpeting I bought this carpet stapler. Having the right tool makes all the differance. My project was done in no time. It comes with a case and 5000 staples. Some have commented that the staples are narrow, but you must remember this is a carpet stapler. I had only one jam, when I hit a screw head, and it was easy to clear. This unit is very powerful and should always be unplugged when not in use or when loading or unloading staples. So far I have only used it for a relatively small project, but it worked great and I hope it will last for a long time.
