I am guitarist for some thirty years plus, This christmas whilst viewing guitar tuition dvds. I came across this one at a very affordable price. At first I was a little put off by the first reviewers comments. But seeing some of Dave kilminster other dvds I ordered one. I very pleased I did. My only wish is that this dvd had been around when I started out learning the guitar.If I was a beginner this is one of the first dvds I would buy.It is a very refreshing change from some of the many ponderous products out there for beginners.Yes it does not go down the usual prodicted routes like so many others have done in the past, it features simple movable shapes based on the Em open chord, C7 open chord moved up the neck. And few more simple based open chords as well, played on other strings all over the neck. You do not need any tab because it is staggered at an easy pace. Each stage adds a little more to the mix. so that at the end you should have a lot more conferdance in your playing abillity, all you need is time and a lot practice. Why I brought this dvd ?, because you never stop learning. And Dave Kilminster is one the best guitarists out there. So how could I lose.I would reconmend this dvd any beginners out there who are intrested in inproving their conferdance when playing guitar.
