This is an excellent book. I have been playing acoustic guitar for about a year, and this book is just challenging enough to keep me learning new things, but not too hard so that I give up in frustration. The best thing about it (in addition to all the songs that are included) is that, in my opinion, it very quietly and almost subconsciously teaches you the important phrases and cliches of acoustic blues, to the point where you get to new song, hear it, and say to yourself "Oh, I know how to play that part because there was a similar part in a previous song. It is this ability to not have to see every new piece you are learning as completely new that makes you a better player. I also appreciate the laid-back instructional style and the emphasis on fun over perfection every time.
