Obviously.... Amazing original jazz that is the pinnacle of jazz enjoyment. Obviously too....is that Wes is George Benson's mentor and for always will be at a level that even George Benson can not climb to...... but Benson got his licks from Wes.....Obviously. I think I have every album that Wes Montgomery has now. It was like listening to the great Jimi Hendrix for the first time when I found Wes. I can't believe no one ever mentioned Wes Montgomery to me ....ever. I hang with a few musicians and they knew of him but didn't know how great he was till I played some albums that they had never heard before. Then they said....,"Oh My", to what I knew was greatness! Now they are new fervent fans too.
