Very pleased with this album. Satie's piano pieces are perfect material for guitar arrangements and the guitarist preserves the character of the works, whether intimate or swaggering. The combination of witty poems and music in "Sports and Pastimes" brings Walton's "Façade" to mind. The sound quality of the recording is also very good. All in all, a disc worth having for fans of Satie or the guitar.
